Advances in Wound Care

Published in Association with Mary Ann Liebert
An Official Publication of: Wound Healing Society

eISSN: 21621934 | ISSN: 21621918 | Current volume: 14 | Current issue: 8
This journal rapidly shares research from bench to bedside, with wound care applications for burns, major trauma, blast injuries, surgery, and diabetic ulcers. The journal provides a critical, peer-reviewed forum for the field of tissue injury and repair, with an emphasis on acute and chronic wounds. In addition to reporting on developments in wound care, translational sciences, and technology development, the journal focuses on non-healing acute and chronic wounds, burns, and trauma. As a publication of the national Wound Healing Society (WHS), this journal is top-ranked (by impact factor) in the field of wound care. By reporting on scientific innovations that are relevant to improved delivery of care, the journal brings biomedical researchers, healthcare providers, and relevant industry leaders to one platform. While the Discovery Express and Technology Advances categories represent original research reports, critical reviews, and comprehensive invited reviews are aimed at top experts through a critical evaluation of multidisciplinary topics relevant to wound care. News & Views articles highlight new developments in the community and present expert perspectives.
