Ewa A. Duda-Mikulin is a Doctoral Researcher and Teaching Assistant in Social Policy at the University of Salford. Duda-Mikulin's research explores Accession 8 (A8) migration to the United Kingdom with particular reference to the role of gender in the migratory process. She is also interested in the impacts of A8 migration on the United Kingdom and Poland. Duda-Mikulin is an Associate Editorial Board Member for Sociological Research Online (). She is a member of the UK Social Policy Association (SPA; ) and the Gender and Education Association (GEA; ). Duda-Mikulin is also the Head of Research at Europia – a voluntary community organisation based in Manchester that works with Central and Eastern European (CEE) migrants and local residents.
