Rebecca (Becky) is Lactation Center Coordinator at Oklahoma University Medical Center and also leads HCA Healthcare’s Corporate Lactation Consultant Workgroup. She is a Clinical Instructor with the Department of OB/GYN at OU Health Sciences Center where she developed and oversees the Oklahoma Breastfeeding Hotline and also has a contract with the Oklahoma State Department of Health to provide professional training/education to all Oklahoma hospitals to improve their breastfeeding care and outcomes. Becky has published a number of articles on hospital lactation programs in the Journal of Human Lactation and she was an expert panelist in the development of the 2011 U. S. Surgeon General’s Call to Action to Support Breastfeeding. She is a Past President of the International Lactation Consultant Association and a current member of the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners. Becky is lead editor of ILCA’s Core Curriculum for Lactation Consultant Practice, 2^nd and 3^rd editions.
