This journal provides authoritative peer-reviewed research, analysis, and commentary on the function of interferons (IFNs), immune cytokines, chemokines, and their gene and cell targets in mediating effector actions. The journal is also a venue for reports on the therapeutic or pathogenic outcomes of IFN and cytokine regulation of innate and adaptive immunity.
