This journal publishes peer-reviewed articles covering medical, psychosocial, policy, and legal issues in serious illness and end-of-life care. From caregiver and palliative care nursing concerns and considerations, to educational design, this journal is the go-to open-access resource for palliative and hospice clinicians and nurses, and palliative patients and their families around the globe.  The journal also considers a variety of front matter material that is available to both clinical and lay audiences and will present essential information for professionals in hospice and palliative medicine, focusing on improving quality of life for patients and their families, and the latest developments in drug and non-drug treatments.

Palliative Medicine Reports is an open access, peer-reviewed journal. All accepted articles are made freely available online immediately upon publication, are published under a Creative Commons license, and hosted online in perpetuity. Palliative Medicine Reports is a peer-reviewed, open access journal, publishing articles covering medical, psychosocial, policy, and legal issues in serious illness and end-of-life care. The journal has a strong clinical focus (including nursing) and is aimed at an international audience of clinicians and researchers in palliative medicine and related disciplines, providing an online forum for rapid dissemination of recent research and perspectives in this area.
 
Palliative Medicine Reports also considers a variety of front matter material that is available to both clinical and lay audiences and will present essential information for professionals in hospice and palliative medicine, focusing on improving quality of life for patients and their families, and the latest developments in drug and non-drug treatments.
 
The journal adheres to a blind review process in which the reviewer's name is routinely withheld from the author unless the reviewer requests a preference for their identity to be revealed. Manuscripts are reviewed by at least two referees. All accepted articles are made freely available online immediately upon publication, are published under a Creative Commons license, and hosted online in perpetuity.
