Ogugua Ndubuisi Okonkwo, MD Eye Foundation Hospital and Eye Foundation Retina Institute
Dr. Ogugua Ndubuisi Okonkwo has to his credit over 15 years of ophthalmic clinical and surgical practice in a high-traffic multispecialty, ophthalmic training institution, The Eye Foundation Hospital, in Lagos, Nigeria. He has been the residency training coordinator and director of postgraduate studies for over 10 years, and in this capacity has been involved in supervising ophthalmic resident doctors’ dissertations and theses. He is the editor in chief of two journals and on the editorial board of several others. He is a reviewer for several journals and the coordinator of the “collaborative retina research network.” He has published several papers, one of which is on indications and outcomes of vitrectomy.
