The Journal of Hispanic Higher Education (JHHE) is a quarterly international journal devoted to the advancement of knowledge and understanding of issues at Hispanic-serving institutions. JHHE maintains a broad focus and accepts the highest quality scholarly, creative and practical articles that combine research with application, fostering the integration of theory and practice. As such, JHHE publishes both quantitative and qualitative articles that specifically relate to issues of interest at Hispanic-serving institutions of higher learning worldwide. JHHE is particularly interested in research that crosses both cultural and disciplinary boundaries.

The Journal of Hispanic Higher Education is a leading peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to advancing the understanding of educational administration and its intersection with economics, STEM, ethnic studies, higher education, Hispanic-Serving Institutions, leadership, management, marketing, political science, and teacher preparation. The journal is committed to publishing rigorous scholarship that critically examines the diverse and complex dynamics that shape higher education, particularly as they relate to Hispanic/Latino communities.
The Journal of Hispanic Higher Education publishes original research and theoretical or conceptual studies that offer critical analysis of how Hispanic/Latino communities are impacted by, and contribute to, the evolving landscape of higher education. The journal provides a platform for scholarship that informs, challenges, and advances the discourse and policymaking on Hispanic/Latino participation and leadership in higher education from global perspectives.
At JHHE, the identity of people from Latin America is recognized and honored; therefore, authors are encouraged to use and define the terms (e.g., Latino, Latina, Latinx, Latine, Hispanic) that reflect how participants or samples identify and to adopt the terminology employed by the original research cited.
